The “Fragments” series consists of 9 collages, each inspired by the poems of Emily Dickinson, and many of which were found on pieces of envelopes and scraps of paper. I think of them as ‘fragments of fragments’. Within these mixed media works are photographs of pieces of her papers, and selected phrases from her poems, both in her hand and mine.
